Cathedral Glory - Saint Chapelle and Notre Dame

After our picnic on the grass we strolled along the left bank of the Seine passing numerous bridges, all with their own character. Of special interest was Pont Des Arts on which visitors have attached padlocks commerating a romance or a strong bond. We walked through the Tuileries Gardens up to the Louvre, which we will visit tomorrow, and then across to Saint Chapelle, a glorious church filled with stained glass windows. We finished our day with another visit to Notre Dame, but alas, did not see the interior because of the massive queues. Instead, we souvenir shopped along the adjacent street to the cathedral.

The beautiful stained glass windows of St Chapelle

Our night time 3 course meal at Bistrot des Vogues
After dinner we took the Metro to the Eiffel Tower to see the night lights and the shimmering light show that occurs on the hour. Very spectacular!
