The Dali Theatre and Museum in Figueres, Spain is one of the largest surreal objects in the world. Located in Salvador Dali's birthplace, the museum contains the single largest and most diverse collection of his works. The heart of the museum was a theatre that Dali attended as a child. The old theatre was bombed in the Spanish Civil War and remained in ruins until Dali and the then mayor of Figueres rebuilt it as a museum dedicated to the artist.
