Behind the Scenes at the Eiffel Tower

During our stay in Paris we will go 'behind the scenes' at the Eiffel Tower to see the history and workings of this iconic monument. We will visit the military bunker of the Eiffel Tower under the Champs de Mars, get access to the machinery room under the east pillar, learn about the workings of the impressive engine room and see how the Tower's elevators operate. We will end our tour on the roof of the famous Le Jules Verne Restaurant for an extraordinary view of Paris.

Fancy a Crossbow, Medieval Duel or a Catapult?

The Médiévales des Baux is a spectacular event at the Château des Baux de Provence that is included in our visit to the south of France. From the 12 April until 31 August, three real catapults - the Treuchet, Couillard and Bricole - will be fired in front of fascinating visitors.  At the foot of the Chateâu walls in the dry moat, you can try your hand at crossbow shooting - see if you can hit a target 30 metres away.

Parent and Student Meeting

We will be holding a parent and student meeting on Tuesday 4 March at 7 pm in the Multi Function Space (MFS) at the school.
This is an important meeting as we will be discussing the details of our itinerary, spending money, phone cards, meeting point at the airport and other travel arrangements.

Final Payment now due

Delphine, our wonderful travel agent from Gullivers Travel, has been busy booking many of the places we will visit on our tour. Final payments are now due. Emails containing balance of accounts have been sent to all students and parent travellers. Please make your final payment before 14 February 2014.

Barbecue bonanza - another great fundraiser

Thanks to all the students and staff who worked tirelessly selling sausage sandwiches all day at our annual swimming carnival. Loads of hungry swimmers made the event a success.

Back to school with a BBQ fundraiser

Welcome back to a sensational school year with our art tour only a couple months away! Next vacation we will be flying out to France, Barcelona and Dubai!
Our last barbeque fundraiser is on this week at the school's swimming carnival. Lets hope we get fine summer weather without the scorching temperatures experienced during the holidays.
We will need all student travellers to assist with selling our sausage sizzle.
Don't forget to wear your house colours!
