Liquids, aerosols or gels exceeding 100mls will be not be permitted.
Restrictions also apply to duty free goods but maybe allowed if the items are in a sealed plastic bag, and a receipt of purchase is included.

It is approximately a 14 hour flight to Dubai for a brief stop over and then another 6 or so hours to Paris, so:
- Bring comfortable flat roomy shoes to wear in the cabin.
- Emirates has an extensive entertainment system but you can also bring a book to read, or listen to your own iPod music.
- It can get chilly on the plane, so pack a jacket or jumper. Blankets and small pillows are provided by the airlines.
- You might like to bring a neck pillow for a more comfortable sleep.
- Make sure you have a pen so you can fill out departure details from Sydney and entry details when arriving in Paris.
- Pack some underwear, toothbrush, small toothpaste, hair brush, tissues and small lip gloss in your cabin bag.
- Pack an EMPTY water bottle and fill it on the plane.
- Make sure you have your travel diary with you on the plane so you can add to it.
